Her program consistently shows well with Gold ratings and high rankings at various local and regional competitions and festivals. Her students have successfully auditioned for choirs on the county, region, state, east coast and national levels and continue to amaze and inspire her. She is active in the North Jersey Region and The American Choral Directors Association, where she has conducted the 2016 NJSMA Treble Choir, the 2017 Sussex County Honor Choir, and the 2019 CJMEA Intermediate Mixed Choir. Mrs. Pomeroy is the current President of the Morris Area Choral Directors Association and enjoys working with other choirs and choral directors in the workshop or clinician setting, specializing in rehearsal techniques, diverse repertoire selection, group improvisation and vocal percussion. Outside of school she enjoys cooking, baking, DIY projects, and spending time with her husband and three daughters Norah, Joni, and Maya.
