Important Morrison Field/ Warren Street Information
The Town of Hackettstown in the past has received several complaints from residents regarding the parking/dropping off of athletes on Warren Street. The Town, in an attempt to alleviate the problem, has painted areas where parking is not allowed. The Hackettstown Police Department will begin enforcing these no parking areas. The following are a few of the complaints that we have received:
1. Parents dropping children off legally then making illegal turns in the streets.
2. Parents parking/stopping in the no parking area to pick up their children in front of the business to the left of the entrance.
3. People blocking the driveways of the residents.
4. People throwing their trash on the ground.
If possible we ask that all athletes park in the student parking lot and walk to their practice. However there will be no issues with cars that are parked legally on Warren Street.
