Share the Keys!

  • Program Description: Share the Keys is a 60-90 minute interactive orientation program for parents and their teen drivers. NJM adopted Share the Keys as part of their enduring commitment to safety and support of the communities they are privileged to serve; it is a research-based, data-driven program designed to reduce teen driver crash risks through increased parental involvement. Parental involvement has a significant impact on teen driver safety.

  • Upcoming STK session: See the next scheduled session below, attendance is required for only ONE class during your years at HHS. Please arrive a few minutes early to ensure attendance, a parent/guardian must be present with the student for the entire presentation.

Summer Parking Sign-Ups: ɳεω Online Parking Google Form

(eligible students may still apply on the Form and will be put on the waitlist in the event a spot becomes available)

To improve fairness and efficiency in assigning parking spots to students, Hackettstown High School has introduced a new application system using a Google Form. Instead of the traditional first-come, first-served approach, students now fill out the Form to apply for parking on school grounds. Once submissions are received, a random selection process is used to assign available spots to students who have completed and submitted all required items. This method ensures everyone has an equal chance, reduces stress around registration, and helps the school manage parking assignments more effectively.

  • Parking spots will be allocated randomly via a fair and unbiased lottery system, with the Google Form application being opened on 8/11/25. If the application is complete and approved, an email confirmation will be sent to the student to complete their payment on approximately 8/25/25, when payment is complete the decal can be distributed to the student. If payment for the assigned spot is not made by 9/5/25, that spot will go back into circulation for another student to purchase. ALL SPOTS WILL BE ASSIGNED IN A RANDOM ORDER.
  • Payment options: Cash, Check (made out to HHS), Payschools
  • All requirements MUST be completed and submitted before a parking decal will be issued.
