Co-Curricular Overview

Hackettstown High School offers a wide variety of clubs and organizations designed to enrich students' educational experiences. These clubs and co-curricular activities provide students with opportunities to explore their interests and passions beyond the classroom setting. The aim is to offer a positive and engaging learning environment that complements the academic work done in the classroom while fostering a sense of community within Hackettstown High School.

Through participation in these activities, students can develop new skills, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the school’s vibrant community. Each club is structured to not only enhance students' knowledge and abilities in specific areas but also to promote teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. By joining these clubs, students can make the most of their high school experience, creating memories and achievements that will last a lifetime.

Hackettstown High School is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. We encourage all students to get involved, explore new interests, and become active members of our school community.

Do You Want to Start a New Club or Organization?

HHS welcomes and supports a diverse array of student organizations. We carefully select new additions to our co-curricular family to ensure each club aligns with our school’s philosophy and enriches our school community. Only student organizations with objectives that align with HHS’s philosophy and provide a clear benefit to the school community will be considered for approval.

Students interested in starting a new club must find a faculty advisor and ensure all guidelines are meticulously followed. Please read the directions on the application thoroughly. Applications will only be considered if all of the requirements are met.

The administration will not approve a club that overlaps with an existing one. To ensure longevity, verify the club’s membership includes students from various grade levels.

For more information, refer to the HHS New Club Form. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Morgan in the Guidance Office for assistance navigating the process.
