To conclude Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the 2025 HHS Lady Tigers Varsity Volleyball Team visited the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center. During their visit, the team proudly presented a check for $1,200 to the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center, representing proceeds from their 10th Annual Pink Game—an event dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness.This year marks the fifteenth year that the Lady Tigers have raised funds for the Joan Knechel Cancer Center. Since 2011, the team has contributed over $31,000 in total donations, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to supporting patients and families affected by breast cancer in the Hackettstown community.
The Lady Tigers extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Yana Goldberg, Radiation Oncologist Specialist; Stephen Flynn, Director, Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center; Teri Rizzolo, RTT, Manager, Department of Radiation Oncology; Dawn Arturi, Lead Radiation Therapist; Donna Duchard, Authorizations Specialist; and Lisa Dimiceli, Foundation Communications Manager, for taking the time to meet with the team and share more about the important work being done at the center.
