On Friday, October 12, 2018 the Hackettstown High School Lady Tigers Volleyball program hosted the Blue Streaks of Warren Hills HS for their 4th Annual Pink Game.  All proceeds from the Tigers vs. Cancer Pink Game benefited the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center. Lisa Dimiceli, Manager of Community and Donor Relations for the HMC Foundation, kicked off the team fundraiser by speaking about the Lady Tigers Volleyball program’s ongoing support of the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center. Lady Tiger Volleyball was named the team who has participated the longest in the Foundation for Hackettstown Medical Center's fall event to raise funds for the JKCC.

Over the last 8 seasons, our team has raised funds to support the Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center. For 7 of those seasons, we have participated in a Walk to Benefit the JKCC. This season, we participated in the Color for Cancer Fun Run/Walk to benefit the JKCC. It was an amazing day. Our fundraising effort was completed with our Pink Game against Warren Hills. In 8 seasons, our team has donated $16,391.02 to the Joan Knechel Cancer Center. We have a team goal of raising $20,000 by 2020!
