1st Meeting Flyer
May's Book Club Selection is Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. It's considered a classic of the Harlem Renaissance, the novel tells Janie Crawford's life story from a vibrant, but voiceless, teenage girl to a woman with her finger on the trigger of her own destiny. It's a short read; just over 200 pgs.
We will be discussing this book at our final book club meeting of the year on May 29th. Pick up a copy in the library!
