Benchmark Grading Day & Student Scheduling
All Assignments due by 8am February 12th
- Requirements
- Work Virtual and follow the C Day bell schedule. Go to elective classes when you don’t have a REQUIRED ATTENDANCE MEETING
- If you don’t have a required meeting or elective class, pick one of the three alternate activities
- Accessing the Meetings
Google Meet Nicknames are bold and highlighted in orange. To access a meeting, go to the Google Meet site (meet.google.com) click enter a code or nickname, and type the nickname listed for the time slot
PM Schedule
After lunch students should attend class or start the scheduling process using the skills learned in the morning presentation. Use the below link to meet with a counselor to ask questions

Seniors
Seniors should attend class. When class isn’t available because of benchmark grading, they should work on transcripts requests or other tasks outlined on the guidance classroom

All 9th, 10th, and 11th Grade Students
- 2/12/21 WILL BE A FULL VIRTUAL DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS
- The day will be used for staff to grade benchmark assessments and for students to start the scheduling process for 21-22
1. The top priority: student scheduling presentation

- 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade student must attend their scheduling meeting to learn about changes to the course catalog, graduation requirements, and how to use the Realtime Portal to enter scheduling requests for the 21-22 school year

2. Priority Two: attend any class that DID NOT provide a benchmark assessment. We will follow a normal C Day schedule.
3. Priority Three: "Student Choice". When a student doesn't have a scheduling meeting or class, the student must pick from one of the three presentation options offered during the period. Options will include:

- An activity to recognize Black History Month
- An activity to focus on Wellness and Personal Growth
- An activity provided by our security personnel that will be interesting, informative, and valuable

SAMPLE: Block 5 is my scheduling appointment, I join the meeting.
Block 6 is Art. I go to Art
Block 7 is English. My teacher is grading so I need to attend one of the alternate activities
Block 8 is Math. My teacher is grading so I need to attend an alternate activity
Lunch will occur during the normally scheduled time of 12:20 to 1:22
In the PM, students must attend scheduled classes that DID NOT provide a benchmark or start entering their course requests in the Realtime Portal. There will be no alternate activities in the afternoon. If students have questions about scheduling, counselors will be available all afternoon.
12th Grade Students
- 2/12/21 WILL BE A FULL VIRTUAL DAY FOR ALL STUDENTS
- 12th-grade students do not have to attend scheduling meetings. They are required to attend any course that DID NOT provide a benchmark assessment.
- Regarding any free period, students are expected to:

- Attend "Student Choice" activities listed above
- Update application outcomes in Navient
- Ensure all of their transcripts of been requested
- When applicable, visit the guidance Google classroom for Financial Aid paperwork. This is a great opportunity to ensure the paperwork is completed and submitted.
